Dawn, I miss you so much. I remember hanging out at your house listening to the Thompson Twins, believe it or not I just bought the CD and I forever think of you! I am happy you are in heaven because we could all use a guardian angel like you! I love you:) Shari

Everyday I am reminded of the joy and heartache of both loving and losing your best friend at such a young age. Our pictures together still adorn my walls and mantels and my vivacious three year old daughter bears your name - Paris Dawn. You enriched my life so much while you were here and continue to do so in my memories.

Dawn, I never knew you but I will never forget Christmas morning 11 years ago. That Christmas was a very sad time for so many people that knew you and Jessica and even for those of us that didn't know you. I am sure that anyone that saw the front page of the Orange County Register that Christmas was touched. There hasn't been a Christmas in 11 years that I haven't thought about you and there hasn't been a Christmas in 7 years that I haven't been at the cemetery to visit you. I once sat down and spoke to your grandfather. He talked and talked about you and how special you were to him. He opened his wallet and it was full of pictures of you. He pulled out of his wallet newspaper articles with tears in his eyes. You were his world and that was so obvious. Dawn, I wish you were here to meet your niece and nephew. They both have your smile, big and beautiful. We have a picture of you on our mantel where it will stay forever and the stories of you will live on forever... I hop

I remember that tragic Christmas morning. I stll have the newspaper clippings and will never forget you. You will always be áforever youngá. God bless your family, May you rest in peace...

I was best friends with Dawn since kindergarden. She was the funniest person I have ever known. She had a great sense of humor and a party followed her wherever she went. It has been 10 years since she's past - and I still think of her today as much as I did the year she died. You will always be missed Dawn.
