Mark, I had a chance to visit you at your resting place recently. You are in a beautiful place. I have good memories of tennis of course but the mostly of the whole gang having such great times at Las Gaviotas. We lived and you still live in us.

Mark, I remember the days on the court. The 'round robbiná challenges, the matches, the tourneys, and of course the álessonsá you taught me. I am sad that you are gone in body, but you will always live on in spirit.

Mark died over 20 years ago in a car crash the day before his 21st birthday. He was a wonderful friend, a loving son, a remarkable brother, and an adoring uncle. He lived his short passionate life with more energy, love and zeal than most us combined, as if he knew his time was fleeting. Now he’s our angel watching over us, visiting us in dreams and guiding us through this difficult life. God bless you Mark. Words can’t begin to express how much you’re missed…
