	Served on the USS Enterprise right out of high school, Petty Officer AMS 3 in the Navy. Was a bartender at Hof`s Hut in Santa Ana before moving to the Big Bear area. He owned two restaurants, one in Fawnskin, one in Big Bear CA. After those closed down, he worked in a maintenance garage in Arizona, earning the nickname "Doc".
