Randy grew up in Southern California and graduated from La Quinta High School class of 1983, then attended the University of Montana. His many life experiences took him to Oregon and most recently in 2001 to Mesa, AZ and from 2008-present where he worked as a much-loved Assistant Manager for Wal Mart. Randy loved life and loved people. He was known for his quick wit and dry sense of humor. Every person in Randy’s life was immediately accepted as a friend. And a more loyal friend none could compare. He was a man who readily shouldered the burdens of others, often taking on additional shifts or working a bit longer "off the clock." If a person was in need, and Randy was able, he sacrificed everything without reservation. In him, there was no judgment. A big guy with a big heart, his absence leaves a big hole in all our lives. Randy is preceded in death by mother Wendie A. Scott; grandparents George and Marion Scott, Ed Wilson. Randy is survived by the son he adored, Tyler Scott of Salem

Randy, It`s still so hard to believe that you`re not here with us and I think we`re still in shock. You were so loved by everyone that you knew, and everyone misses you terribly. I asked Lisa the other day, How you can miss someone so much, that you havedn`t seen in so long. and I think it`s because you gave so much of yourself to everyone. You gave your friendship so freely to others and that stays with us forever. Thank you for your friendship, You are in my heart forever. Kimmi

My sweet wonderful friend. I miss you so much. I`m so blessed to have been friends with you for 29 years. I know in time the pain of losing you will be less but you will forever by in my heart. XO
